Celebrity Big Brother 2011 – The Final

by RealityTVBlog on September 9, 2011

Just as soon as it has started it is all over. 21 days have passed, and it is time for us to find out the winner. With seven left; Amy, Darryn, Jedward, Kerry, Paddy, Bobby and Lucian are all lining up to face the public vote.

There have been some mental times over the last three weeks. We have had the love triangle, Tara’s conspiracy theories, Jedward crashing the house, the two sides of Darryn, Bobby turning into a five-year-old  and of course, some of the tasks. However, maybe the most outrageous event in the last three weeks, Bobby received the best house mate award from Jedward in a last minute dinner/award bash!

Without further ado, we start the evictions and unsurprisingly in seventh-place Levi’s model Bobby. Unsurprisingly we focus on the sweat gate incident, which Mr. Dowling makes a much bigger deal of it. Bobby once again apologises for his actions.

Straight on with the action and we are down to six, and it is time for the other member of the sweat gate to leave. Yes, Darryn predictably finishes in sixth. Brian asks Darryn “did you think you would make the final night?” To which Darryn replies no, even though seven out of ten people did so it was not really hard. One of the main focuses of Darryn’s eviction was Darryn’s six pack. He admits that he liked the company so much he brought into it!

Two down and five to go, and next out is Lucien. Walking down to Britney Spears Womaniser (appropriately), Lucien looks rather comfortable in front of the large crowd even though he claims he is nervous. As Brian is discussing Lucien’s womanising he drops the line “I might be a bit of a flirt sometimes.” I also heard today that that the pope is a catholic.

Back to business and we are down to the final four. Amy is the next person to leave the big brother house. When asked about Lucien, Amy said that she does not fancy him at all, and that she thought Lucien and Kerry would hook up. They probably would have if she had kept her nose out! Brian drops the funniest and truest line of the night, he says, “the more she drunk the more she fancied him.”

Wow!!! It is the first surprise of the night. Jedward are out in third place. Surprisingly enough to more boo’s than most of the other housemates!! Clearly they may have some dedicated fans, but the majority of viewers are still annoyed by them! Brian points out that Jedward did not receive one vote from anybody in the house… which is surprising to say the least. Jedward talk the whole way through the interview about how everybody is really cool, while not allowing Brian to get a word in edgeways, just like everybody expected.

Here we go; it is the moment of truth. The winner of celebrity big brother 2011 is PADDY, which means Kerry has finished as a runner up. In a rather emotional interview, Kerry speaks out about how she wanted to change her life by going into the house, and it looks like she is being genuine. When asked about a potential romance, she looks gob smacked? She goes on to talk about how she saw Lucien as a brother to which Brian replied Isn’t it a bit strange to kiss your brother on the lips? Kerry claims that it is not, and that she does it to everybody?!

Now it is time for the winner to have his interview. Paddy looks like an emotional wreck. In his interview, he talks about how he is not the hard man he is made out to be, and that what we saw in the house was the real him. He says that he was very happy to be there, and that he thought he would genuinely be out in the first week. He talked about his new-found respect for ‘country people’, and that he now appreciates them more than ever. He then thanks big brother and God for giving him the opportunity to be there, before Brian brings on his WOMAN!!

We then see the next surprise that big brother has to offer. As you may or may not know the first ‘normal’ big brother starts tomorrow with one special guest…. much rumoured about Pamela Anderson! However, will she be a housemate, or will she play a cameo role? All will be revealed.
